The Cash Cows Family

We have been playing music for many years and happily get asked to play a lot of shows. Unfortunately we can’t be in 2 places at the same time. We are working on it but in the meantime we are blessed to have a family of extremely talented musicians we work with to provide The Cash Cows experience you know and love.

Robbie Humphries

Since being thrown onto the mean streets of South Manchester aged 15 with a guitar in hand and a case out front Robbie has played shows all over the world. After meeting Brendan at a house party and deciding to go busking in Newcastle the following day The Cash Cows was born.

He has written and produced more records than he remembers and can always be counted on to play one more tune.

Brendan Rowley

A life long student of the bass and all things low Brendan has played more shows than most people have had hot baths.

Since forming The Cash Cows with Robbie in 2004 the dynamic duo have played every kind of gig you can possibly imagine.

MEG Cavanaugh

Meg has toured internationally as a vocalist and songwriter, with her Singer/Songwriter background originating in New York City, where she was part of the anti-folk scene in the east village. She has released two solo albums, toured as the female vocalist for Matt Bianco, and works as a jazz singer based in London.

As a solo artist and vocalist, she has played internationally and locally at Ronnie Scotts, The Blue Note (Tokyo, Milan, Nygoya), The Jazz Cafe, Kansas Smitty’s, The Ned, Soho House, OXO, Bassoon Bar at Corinthia Hotel, Jazz festivals in Switzerland, Austria, Budapest,  and many more.  She has released two original solo albums and brings the vibes to every show she plays.

Ritchie McCabe

Ritchie McCabe is an experienced singer and guitarist who has been wowing crowds at festivals, bars, pubs, clubs, theatres and weddings for the last 20 years. Playing a wide range of popular covers from the 50’s up to present day, Ritchie’s versatility has allowed him to be part of a mixture of line ups; performing as a soloist, all the way up to leading a 12 piece band. Thriving anywhere from intimate chilled settings to rowdy party atmospheres, Ritchie’s soulful vocals, expert guitar work and his love of everything musical all combine to provide an energetic and unforgettable performance.

Some of Ritchie’s musical highlights include playing at the Edinburgh festival, the 100 Club on Oxford Street, the London Eye, the cork jazz festival and at the Olympic park during the London 2012 games.

We are lucky to have Richie in The Cash Cows Family. A safe pair of hands who can always get the party jumping!
